OrcCon is on the horizon, just six weeks away. Who all is coming? What are you running? What games would you love to see run?

I'll be there with Paul Tevis at the IPR booth as usual, with a special addition of Wes Otis selling his awesome teeshirts. If there's anything you'd like to see at the booth, tell us now so we can be sure to get it before the con!

I have a couple tables reserved for us on the 8th at Game Empire. I'll probably run Spirit of the West.

Well Gateway is over now. What are your thoughts on the con? I had a great time gaming and hanging out with everybody.

This is the first public announcement for Nerdly Beach Party III, scheduled for September 19-21, once again at San Simeon state park.

NBP2 in early April went really well, with lots of quality gaming and relatively few hitches. To help iron those wrinkles out, we're going to use the budget surplus from last time to print up a huge banner and buy a bit of portable shade. Other than that, it will be mostly business as usual: Awesome gaming, good food, and nice weather*!

Registration will probably open up some time in August.

Bring meat to grill, a side to share, and a game to play!

This is a real fun, informal event where we hang out around food and fun. Kids are encouraged to come along!

So how was it for you?

Mine was rocking despite the few missing faces and the lack of their games, and the new RPG room layout. Which wasn't too bad for the noise, but was bad for the funk.

Delta Green classic Cthulhu was solid though we did get a little sidetracked with the little monster in the beginning rather than going after the big elder god being milked in a basement like we were supposed to.

So now that our sunburns have set in, do that discussing thing.

So how did the con go for everybody? Share the high and low points. Did any new and exciting things happened for you?

This was an offshoot of from the minicon thread. Since there isn't time to organize a full fledged minicon, we are just going to have a small get together and play some games.

What:
Go Play L.A. #0. We will meet the day after Thanksgiving to play some story games and hang out. We'll play two games running about four hours in length, the first one starting at 11:00 AM and the second at 5:00PM. That will allow plenty of time for food and maybe some quick board games.
